Your "Need To Know's" about Resin Products

Welcome!

At Crazy Chaotic Crafter, every piece is handcrafted with love and attention to detail. Because each item is unique, I want to ensure you have all the information you need to enjoy your purchase for years to come.

## 1. Transparency & Product Quality

 * Visual Representation:

To capture the intricate details and textures of my work, product images are enhanced using lighting and digital tools.

 * Color Nuances:

I specialize in working with pigments and pearlescent/iridescent shades to create depth and shimmer. Due to these unique finishes, colors may appear slightly different in person depending on your specific screen settings and lighting conditions.

 * Dimensions:

Images may not always reflect the true scale of an item. Please check the individual product description for exact dimensions to ensure the piece fits your needs perfectly.

 * Handmade Nature:

Resin art is a fluid, artisanal medium. Small bubbles, minor surface variations, or tiny imperfections are natural characteristics of the process. These are not considered defects but rather proof that your piece was crafted by hand rather than mass-produced by a machine.

## 2. Environmental Considerations

Resin is a temperature-sensitive material. Because of this, external environmental conditions can temporarily affect the feel of your piece:

 * Softness in Heat:

In warmer temperatures (70-80°F and above) or high humidity, your resin piece may temporarily become soft, flexible, or slightly tacky to the touch.

 * The "Auto-Correction" Process:

If your item feels soft or sticky, simply place it on a flat, cool, and dry surface. Once the piece reaches a stable, cooler temperature, it will naturally "auto-correct" and return to its original, rigid hardness.

 * Importance of Flat Surfaces:

While the piece is in a warm or humid environment, please ensure it remains lying flat. This prevents any unintended bending while the resin is in its flexible state.

## 3. Care Instructions
To keep your resin art looking vibrant and beautiful, please follow these simple care guidelines:

 * Cleaning:

Gently wipe your pieces with a soft, microfiber cloth. If a deeper clean is needed, use a soft cloth dampened with a small amount of mild, diluted soap, and dry immediately.

 * Storage:

 Keep your pieces in a cool, dry place when not in use to maintain their finish.

 * General Handling:

Treat your resin pieces with the same care you would use for delicate glass or ceramic items. While resin is durable, it can be scratched or chipped if handled roughly.

## 4. What NOT To Do
To preserve the longevity, clarity, and structure of your items, please avoid the following:

 * No High Heat:

Do not place resin items in the microwave, oven, or near open flames. Excessive heat can cause the resin to soften or warp.

 * No Dishwashers:

Resin is not dishwasher-safe. High temperatures and harsh dishwasher detergents will strip the finish and compromise the integrity of the piece.

 * Avoid Prolonged Direct Sunlight:

While I use high-quality materials, extended exposure to intense, direct UV light can eventually cause fading or yellowing over time.

 * No Harsh Chemicals:

Do not use abrasive cleaners, bleach, acetone, or heavy chemical solvents. These substances will permanently dull the shine and may cause the resin to become cloudy or tacky.

 * Avoid Sharp Objects:

Please do not use knives or sharp tools directly on the surface of your resin pieces, as this will result in permanent scratching.
